In accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the TOSV maintains a drug-free
workplace for all employees and has an anti-drug policy and awareness program.
To comply with the Drug-Fee Workplace Act, Village Shuttle will:
- Publicly post a “Drug-Free Workplace” Certification stating that the unlawful manufacture,
distribution, dispensing, possession, or use a controlled substance is prohibited in the
workplace and specify the actions that will be taken against employees for violation.
- Establish an ongoing drug-free awareness program to inform employees about the dangers
of drug abuse in the workplace and the penalties that may be imposed upon employees for
drug abuse violations. Village Shuttle will also provide any available drug counseling,
rehabilitation, or employee assistance programs needed.
