Ridership Change | Program Income variation is one way to analyze trends. In 2019, program income was $23,321 for fixed route services. In 2020, it dipped to $10,693 directly as a result of COVID 19. It increased slightly in 2021 ($11,517) as riders were still reluctant to be in public places such as on a bus, again due to COVID. In 2022, ridership began to increase back to our more regular trend with $20,171 in program income.
When we offer free fares, which we are doing for the month of August, 2023, ridership increases and it helps market our transit services as more people are riding and telling their family and friends about our services.
