Ridership Change

2019 was the last year prior to pandemic impacts, providing a baseline of ridership data. It is clear that 2020 ridership was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, although ridership did increase over the summer months in 2020. 2021 saw an increase in ridership over 2020, although passenger capacity was still limited to 50% onboard each bus by health department policy. In 2022, masking and social distancing requirements were lifted and ridership began to return to normal levels. August 2022 saw a large increase in ridership due to the free fare program.
