The first two weeks of August were definitely busier than usual. Usually, for us the beginning of the any month is busiest part of the month. The third week was just slow across the board for all of our programs. The remainder of the month seemed about relatively normal compared to other months. August ridership was higher than the prior three months of May, June and July. August was also the third highest month of the year so far for ridership.
This years total August ridership was only slightly higher than August of 2021 but was 28% higher than August of 2020. We are still trying to determine any impact on ridership following August 2022.
