A petty cash fund provides our various programs availability of cash that is essential to daily
operations. The Agency maintains the following amounts in the departments listed below:

• Finance $1,000
• Adult Day Wheat Ridge $500
• Southwest Plaza $100
• Starr Center $250
• Transportation Wheat Ridge $200
• Evergreen $250

These departments will regularly (approximately once a month) replenish their petty cash as
needed by filling out a petty cash replenishment form. Finance will use the petty cash held
in Finance department to replenish other department’s petty cash fund. Random petty cash
counts will be conducted by Finance department twice a year. A report of findings shall be
provided to the Finance Committee at the next meeting.
