The Agency will have an audit of its financial statements annually, preferably within 4 months, but up to 6 months if necessary, of the end of each the fiscal year. The audit shall be completed by a firm of Independent Certified Public Accountants. The President & CEO and the Director of Finance shall have direct responsibility in overseeing the implementation of the Annual Financial Audit.

A representative of the audit firm shall be invited to make an annual presentation of the audited financials to the Finance Committee, and shall be required to make a presentation to the Board if the audit report is other than unqualified, or if the auditor’s report material weaknesses in internal controls or reportable conditions.

The Director of Finance or the Auditor shall prepare the Form 990, and it shall be reviewed by the President & CEO and the Finance Committee before submission to the IRS.
