- You must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians crossing the street regardless of whether they are at a marked crosswalk or in the center of the block where there is no crosswalk. When a pedestrian is crossing the street, you must drive with caution until sure the pedestrian is safely out of the way.
- You must not assume that because the pedestrian is moving he/she will continue to move and be out of the way by the time the bus reaches him/her.
