Emergency hazard lights should be operated when:
- When loading and unloading wheelchair clients
- At railroad crossings
- Backing a vehicle
- Vehicle is disabled (if necessary flag the traffic around the disabled vehicle)
Whenever the driver is getting out of the driver’s seat to assist a passenger
