As mandated by law, Alpine Express maintenance staff follow an ADA accessibility features PM program that checks items such as wheelchair lift, tie-downs, interlock, safety alarms, straps, barriers,
P.A. system, and destination sign. The intent of this program is to assure that accessibility features are maintained to the specifications prescribed by the manufacturers. The maintenance of lifts is performed by certified technicians during the vehicles’ regularly scheduled PM services in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Daily safety checks are performed by Alpine Express vehicle operators and documented on the DVIR.
