Covid 19 Resources
I’ve heard from many of you that coronavirus preparedness planning is becoming your top priority despite the fact that we are still operating with a lot of unknown factors. Below I’ve compiled a list of resources, some specifically for transit and others for the general public that may help you put your plan together. If you run across any other resources you think might be helpful please forward them to me and I will get them out to the group.
Thank you for all the work and planning you are doing to safeguard your employees and serve your community

CASTA White Paper on COVID Mitigation on Transit Vehicles “Considerations for the Safe Lifting of Transit Capacity Restrictions out of Operational Necessity in the Times of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic” 10/19/2020
CASTA’s new paper Considerations for the Safe Lifting of Transit Capacity Restrictions out of Operational Necessity in the Times of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic “outlines the research that shows that transit is a safe option for the public when transit agencies incorporate mitigation efforts and develop capacity restrictions that follow the CDPHE’s COVID-19 dial dashboard. Based on evidence stated included, this paper supports the argument that transit is not a particularly dangerous space, and that lifting capacity restrictions (in the event that this becomes an operational necessity) can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis without the undertaking of undue risk.”
New COVID-19 Resource Tool for Public Transportation Available from FTA
