Virtual PASS 7.0 Trainer Workshop

Please find CTAA’s Training calendar that has an overview of the four Virtual PASS 7.0 Train-the-Trainer classes that are offered in November and December 2020.  Before meeting for the one-day Virtual Training session with Master Trainer Joe Seitz, there are two mandatory online prerequisites for the PASS Train-the-Trainer class that must be completed. Both online courses are to ensure all attendees are fully prepared and have the same level of understanding at the outset of the training. The required pre-work course overview is described below. At the conclusion one-day Virtual Training session the Learner will be meeting remotely within two weeks of the completion of the course to make a presentation to our Master Trainer demonstrating the wheelchair and/or ramp operations and the hands-on mobility securement techniques which concludes with an online PASS Trainer test. Upon successful completion of the test, the Trainer will receive an email certificate that is valid for three years.

(1)  PASS Basic 7.0  – Sensitivity Skills Training – A four hour self-paced online course provided in seven modules with a quiz after each module.  The Learner will receive an email with the PASS “Driver” certificate at the successful completion of the course.  This course replicates both the Trainer and Driver perspective.

(2)  Train the Trainer – Techniques for Training PASS- This one hour and 45 minute online course uses a manual as part of the course and the successful completion of this course issues a Certificate of Completion.
